Shipping & Returns

As we want your plants to arrive in the best possible condition.
Consequently we only ship orders on Mondays and Wednesdays using a private courier (tracked and insured to the UK) Overseas items are posted via Royal Mail overseas parcel service.
However we reserve the right to utilise alternative carriers for bulky, heavy or urgent items.
All plants (unless otherwise specified) are shipped bare-root and are appropriately packaged to ensure that you receive them in good condition.
We now have added the 'care sheets' to the site to help you successfully grow your plants.
Exceptions are Carnivorous plants, with most of these being bog plants, they are sent potted in live sphagnum moss.
They can then either be grown as supplied until they start growth then potted up into the correct compost.
We can ship to EU country - for non UK orders please drop us an email with your order so that we can calculate the shipping costs.
We are currently unable to ship outside of the EU. We can only accept payment in British Pounds Sterling.
Orders will only be held for 7 days if the payment method of Cheque or Postal Order is selected.
Orders under £50 will be charged the standard courier price.
Some heavy items have a surcharge of postage added to the items price.
This means that any items that are returned by the postal service as not collected or refused will be charged at the actual postage cost plus an admin fee for the redelivery of the items.
This is in keeping with the sale of perishable goods act.
We will in the event of items return, email the customer with the information of returned items and the cost of re posting.
Payment is required within 7 days of the order being placed.
If for any reason your chosen method of payment is rejected we hold the right to send an invoice for the full amount which then must be paid with 7 days.
Orders which have been made by error, must be void by ourselves.
This can only be done when the customer sends a confirming email before making a payment, complete with order number to the site owner at the email address listed in the contact me section of the site.
Without voiding an order the customer is liable for the cost and any external fees involved in receiving the money.
Should you be dissatified in any way, please drop us an email and we will do everything reasonable within our power to rectify the situation.
Returns.
Due to the nature of our products, and in keeping with the UK distance selling regulations.
Live plants/perishable goods are exempt from the law.
Non perishable goods such as labels/pots etc can be returned if 'not as advertised' / 'damaged'. Before returning items, please email or call us (details on the enclosed invoice). Once the items have been received in resale condition, we will credit your online account with the cost of the items.
Please note, return postage is at the customers expense, and refund/credit is for the item value minus any postage/handling costs.
