Hardy carnivorous 7 plant collection

Description: This is a great hardy collection of carnivorous plants.
The collection includes the plants, compost and cauldron.
These make ideal gifts as you receive everything you need to produce a planted container like in the photo.
In the collection you receive.
1, Sarracenia flava. This is a tall growing Sarracenia. The plant supplied will be over 15cm.
2, Sarracenia purpurea. This is a low growing Sarracenia. The plant supplied will have pitchers over 5cm.
3, Sarracenia catesbaei. This is a Sarracenia hybrid with supplied growth over 10cm.
4, Dionaea muscipula. The famous Venus fly trap. This will be over 5cm across.
5, Pinguicula grandiflora. This is a quickly spreading butterwort which produces flowers at the beginning of the growing season. This plant forms a tight resting bud in winter and will be supplied as a bud in winter or plant in spring onwards.
6, Drosera filiformis. This sundew produces needle like leaves over 25cm long when mature. The plant supplied will have summer leaves of over 10cm. This plant also produces a bud in winter.
7, Drosera rotundifolia. A native plant to the UK, which produces a small rosette of spoon like leaves. This also produces a winter resting bud.
You will also receive a black medium size cauldron (26cm)
And 4 litres of compost mix 1, which is ideal to plant the collection in.
The plants are sent individually wrapped and labelled. On arrival just fill the cauldron with the supplied compost, choose the position of the plants and plant into the compost.
It is best to make a couple of holes in the cauldron at soil level. This will maintain a high water level in the container but will stop the plant from washing away when watered.
This collection is hardy and best grown outside all year. In very severe weather or sustained frozen ground it may be best to move to a cold greenhouse as the plants are hardy but donít like weeks of frozen soil.
Please see the individual plant description on the site for more information on the plants in this collection and please feel free to view the online guides for advice. These plants do go dormant in winter when they resemble pots of compost, so best to order in late spring/summer when in growth,
