Organic Burdock Root x 1

Organic Burdock Root (1 per pack)
Burdock is one of a range of biennial thistles in the genus Arctium, family Astercea.
The plant produces dark green leaves that can reach up to 18in (45+cm) long.
They are large ovate and coarse with heart shaped lower leaves.
Flowering is normally from July to October.
The young tap root can be eaten as a vegetable.
With the plant being related to the artichoke the young flower heads can be harvested before the flower appears.
A root section will give a head start for anybody wanting a quicker plant.
This is for 1 organically grown burdock root section,
it will have the top trimmed of, as the new plant grows from nodes on the root, not the top.
Posted in moss in a postage tube so it arrives in good condition.
