How the co-op made our dandelions famous?

Back in 2007 we received a phone call from an advertising agent, who were looking for about 1000 dandelion plants.
The company had been looking for a while and had stumbled upon our website, which was the only place they found that was selling live plants.
After a few discussions, we found out that they were needed for a new co-op advert which was being made.
The plants needed to be fresh and sturdy as they needed the ‘clocks’ for a certain date.
We agreed that we could provide the quantity they needed.
Over the following weekend we took on the challenge of digging up the plants, and prepared them for their collection.
They were organically grown and once dug were placed upright in strong lined boxes with a little moisture in the base to keep them fresh.
Early the next day, they were collected by the production company and taken to a nursery near the filming site to be grown on to produce the ‘clocks’.

So from our nursery to your TV, and they are even being sung to by Bob Dylan.
How amazing is that?
You can see our dandelions appearing in the TV advert at the following link.
